Yes the infamous Perez Hilton a.k.a. Mario Lavandeira. Why am I writing about him? It is because I absolutely loathe him. Except I cannot deny that I go on his website daily. Why you might ask? It's not because I enjoy his gossip blog. NO. NO. Don't get me wrong I don't enjoy it. I think it's a disgrace and very unethical. I go on his website because I enjoy reading the comments that are written about Perez and how bad Perez writes his blog; and that I must say, is absolutely fab to read! Seriously, no gossip ever writes things like that as they do in Perez Hilton comment pages for his posts.
OK. Let me give you some postives and negatives of his website. (mostly it will be all negatives, but there are always a few postives from anything!)
Perez Hilton is a latino gay blogger who tries to pave the way for gays and lesbians out there. He wants to publicize as many gay and lesbian celebrities out there. Personally it feels like he forced all the gay celebrities to tell the world that they're gay. OK. I have no beef against any gays or lesbians out there, I just believe that they have their right to privacy just like everyone else in the world. Seriously, if TMZ is not outting gays or lesbians, why would anyone care?
Perez Hilton says he is pushing the envelope and he'll express his opinions. His opinions are not based on anything that is moral. I don't think he's doing a great job. I guess he is trying to push the envelope, but I think he's doing it too fast and in a very insincere way. It's like he doesn't give a damn for anything buy himself. Honestly, his blog is pretty bad compared to others I've read. I prefer DListed over his blog any day of the year; and yes I do go on Dlisted daily and it's quite enjoyable too.
Perez Hilton gets no love from the paparazzi. Why? When he walked down the red carpet of VH1's Big in '06 Awards last year, the paparazzi made a pack not to take his picture. Which isn't surpising because he is/was being sued for copyright infringement for $7.1 million dollars by X17. X17 is one of the most popular gossip websites who has like zillions of photos of celebrities.
It also isn't surpising that he is being sued by Jennifer Aniston for putting a topless photo of her that was taken during her filming of "The Break Up".
So many lawsuits. So many haters for Perez Hilton. He doesn't get much love from the paparazzi huh? But don't get me wrong, I go on his website daily. I've seen the way he writes about celebrities. What what has caught my eye? The fact that he started trash talking about Paris Hilton and now he is totally inlove with her. What's with that? He also did not write about the website about Paris. PARISEXPOSED.COM. It is down now since Paris is suing the ower or something. It was enjoyable when he made fun of Paris. Same goes for Brooke Hogan. It seems like he is doing the same thing. WOW! DEJA VU! He isn't trash talking about Brooke anymore!
My guess? He is being paid not to trash talk about some people. Oh the money he makes!
