i doubt the US will make new laws for gun control.
it's against their idiotic constitution, which by the way, doesn't work in the 21st century but still in use.
news like this will only create more discriminations and chaos in US.
nothing good ever comes out of the government. 911 is a good example.
it's exactly like China. try educating the entire population first, then maybe we'll see some changes.
i don't forsee that happening in the next 10 years. =P

The way I see it is that they'll probably talk about it a few more years and then come out with new laws and regulations to prevent it.
911 is a different story. There was regulations that were created from it. More flight regulations than anything else.
Sometimes the legal systems come out with laws that are not broadcast to the economy.
News like this does create a lot more discriminations and chaos in the US and new laws and regulations do come about for only and ONLY major events such as this massacre.
I don't think these new laws or regulations that would come out and about from it would work because all laws have their loopholes. Just have to find them. (ahhem.. you tend to find that out if you study accounting and no matter how many laws and regulations there is, there is always a loophole)
