I should  be getting ready for school right now. But all I can think about is how Band-o-Rama is Wednesday and I'm actually excited. Not for symphony band, but marching band. I'm excited for the crazy tempos and the intense rush of adrenaline. We're going to be awesome.

ps. people really think harrison is for real now. although i don't contribute to the forums on mlive, people are talking about harrison...in really good ways. people are predicting us to win, and i am SO excited. i just wanted to let you know that. :)

Don't count your chickens before they hatch!! (Or parrots, in our pirate-y case...) I don't want people in band to get that mindset, because then we'll slack. That's not what we need to be successful.

But that is exciting. For once, people aren't spitting all over us.

I know, I am too :) I feel like we're having the same problem as last year, though... not enough people having enough heart. Last night Scott gave us this long speech about how it's ridiculous that he wants it more than we do. I think it's because some people don't understand. They don't get it.

I just hope that 5-minute speech got through to them. And I hope it get completely through to them, so they don't need a pep-talk every time we try to get energy out of them.
