After seeing The Hobbit last week, this past weekend my good friend ghislainem70 visited me and we spent Saturday seeing it twice, in 2D and 48fps3D, and then visiting the Hobbit exhibit at The Grove, a nice shopping center nearby, that showers patrons with manufactured snow each evening this time of year. WoW!!! That exhibit!!! That's really incredible! Nice pic of you guys!

I hope to go again tomorrow -- I can't today, even though I really wanted to. I have plans with going to friends' house for dinner and we had a long, long faculty meeting today.

Yeah, a very cool exhibit! (ETA there are additional pics in the comments.) I didn't even know it was there... I checked their website to find out what times the snow would be falling, and saw mention of the exhibit. Thank goodness! And I've been seeing the film (4 times so far) at Grauman's Chinese - a spectacular theatre. Picked up another free Hobbit shirt on Monday. :)

I saw people with them and totally coveted that popcorn container, too! It is great - all plastic. If I get another one, and if you want to pay for postage, I can send it to you. I also managed to score several Bilbo with Sting posters (11.5x17) when I went again on Monday. Chatted up the Grauman's Chinese box office guy and he gave them to me. Oh, the silly happiness. :)

I know! I got another one when I went there again on Monday. And also got some free Bilbo w/Sting posters. Yay for Grauman's Chinese.
