Errrmm... to tell you the truth, I'm not that sure about most things he said... ö_Ö I mean, the characters they used in 'Matrix' were, as far as I know it, completely made up, and so I'd guess that was not so... correct. XD Now, I don't have a clue about architecture and was just like "Uh-huh... post-industrial what??" And the manga thing... might be that they influenced the western movie producers, but what I found funny was more the fact that he was entirely convinced that ALL manga were apocalypse-End of Days-sci-fi-stories... XD *coughs*
Yep, off-work as of the 1st of September! ♥ My program for the month until I have to leave on the 24th is only fixed as far as that I have to write 3 term papers (1 is almost done, the most difficult one XD) and will have a friend stay over for a few days in the time from the 12th to the 20th, but it's not sure how long he will stay, since he's gonna visit some people here.^^ So, I'd LOVE to meet! XD
I also always thought that those characters in "Matrix" were katakana. Since the two brorhers who made up the whole Matrix stories are die-hard Otakus, as far as I heard XD. Well, gotta check that out some day I guess. Dude, I don't know about the manga. I only heard that when the first wave of Boys's Love stories came out in Japan, they were heavily influenced by our German modern authors, such has Heinrich Heine, Thomas Mann, etc. since those are said to have written heavy homo-reotic subtext in their novels.

About meeting, well, Sanna won't be back before the 18th at the very least, in fact I might even meet her in Japan^^ She wanted to visit some friends and stuff, so she will try to stay longer. My friend had to change his plans and will now only be there by the 14th (Friday) However, since I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and my parents are leaving on Tuesday as well and I need to go to the Uni on Monday, could we make that some point later in the week, like wednesday or thursday? Onegai!! XD
Um, right now I'm in Utsunomiya, about 1 1/2 hours by train from Tokyo, having a great time, bawling my eyes out because all of my colleagues are such wonderful people and are making me feel extremely bad about having to leave. They said I have a job here in the future if I want it!! ^________

That's wonderful with the possible job!! I'm so happy for you!! XD Definitely go for it - you know how it is, you'll need the company you work for to tell the Japanese officials why they need YOU to work for them in order to get a real work visa. ^^
Well, if you want, I could try and call JAL for you, if you give me the info about what you're looking for exactly.^^ Might be easier than having to calculate with the time difference and all XD And I personally think you should DEFINITELY go for Seoul, too, if time and money allow it - it will not be before next summer that you can go to Korea again, and NOW you even have someone to show you around! XD
