Has anyone cooked with shirataki noodles?

I've never been good at figuring out the cooked yield (in cups) from dry/raw ingredients. If I want to use 168g (roughly 6 oz) bags of shiratiki noodles to replace 8 oz of dry noodles, how many bags/drained cups of noodles should I use?

As a rule, most pasta is 2 ounces dry to 1 cup cooked.
8 ounces of dry pasta will yield 4 cups cooked.

The shirataki noodles that I've used tend to be approximately 1 cup after draining.

Note also that--at least in my own experience--shirataki noodles aren't going to be absorbent in the same way as grain-based pasta, so you'll want to factor that in when calculating the ratio of liquid to noodles.

It's for an Asian noodle recipe that gives me the option of linguine or rice sticks. Thanks for the tip!
