  • I wrote that yesterday. I'm still feelin' it. Didn't feel like typing it, though.
  • In my head this week..Mr. John Soda, Elliott Smith (first time in a while), Papa M, Khaela Maricich, Stephen Malkmus and the regulars: Kimya Dawson, Herman Dune. I've listened to a little Postal Service as well. I used to hate them so much, but whatever. It just bugs me that while I'm into all this I can't produce anything similar. I'm working on some ukulele songs, but I can't remember any of the stuff. I got rid of one of the strings that was really bugging me. I don't have a mic good enough to capture it or the stuff to rig it as an accoustic/electric. I don't even have duct tape right now. My Shout Out Louds CD got scratched pretty weird. Spring break is zooming by real fast.
  • I went out for some Indian food with John and Swiss Philip on Monday. Great food. The waitress was cool. Philip had a few chances to strike up conversation, but he didn't go for it, which really boggled John. The best chance was when Philip referred to the food as "painful" because the word for spicy in German is the same as painful. We were cracking up and the woman shows up and is all puzzled. John explains the situation and she laughs and tries to relate with Philip by explaining how she's only been in the U.S. for six months or so. Philip just sat and stared blankly. The waitress even thought he may not have heard her and tried again, but nope. Then, while we were in the car leaving, she was on her break and walking around outside. She was putting her hands through her hair and suddenly this funky music comes on the radio. We got a laugh out of that. Very..ironic? So there was then a big long back and forth at Blockbuster. We went to Blockbuster, Philip's house, and back four times trying to get a movie with no card, Phil's dad's name, John's mom's name, and then Phil's dad's actual card. We didn't get a movie, so we picked one out of Philip's collection. Bourne Identity (or whichever Bourne comes first). I liked it, but mostly because the woman who played Lola in Lola Rennt was in it.
  • Yup.
  • Oh, I'm not drawing anything right now. Help me out.
  • Also, NEIL, NEIL, NEIL, NEIL, NEIL. That's five times, NEIL.
  • And..if you read it, Antsy Pants is amazing kids doing amazing shit.
  • Last bit. I have been considering myspace for quite some time now. I even made a few, but I always freak out and delete it. That handing out 100 copies of an EP + minicomic package thing isn't being realized either. If anyone wants to hear some shoot, just comment or e-mail me or whatever and I'll let you in. I finally got some solid vocals done on this particular song and..yeah. GRR, ARMY MAN.
  • American Idol: Queen. Hmm..
