Hmmm - this week's FFOF is all about foods I don't usually make!

#1. Egg salad or deviled eggs. How do you prepare?

I do make egg salad, but very plain. Just the eggs, Miracle Whip (shut up) and sea salt. My favorite week-after-Easter lunch!

You're letting gravy-making intimidate you. Try it & you'll find it's not difficult.

No Trader Joe's nearby, so can't try the recipe, but it sounds yummy.

Not really intimidated - just no desire! Really, it's something I only have once or twice a year, so it's just not that big a deal to me.

It is nice to hear that someone else uses jar gravy at holiday meals. I am too tired from cooking everything else to stand over the stove and make gravy that may or may not turn out. Karen at http://www.chatbugkaren.com/windingthreads

Exactly. And like I said in another comment, I really only have gravy once or twice a year, so it's just not worth the effort to me.

I love deviled eggs but never make them, because I'm the only one in the house who will eat them. My kids to love to eat plain hard-boiled eggs, though.
