So we did end up going to the fair for a couple hours on Friday. Our local butcher has a food kiosk where they serve roast beef sandwiches and BBQ, so we decided to go for lunch. You know those pictures Arby's shows of their roast beef sandwiches, all piled high and juicy? But when you open the wrapper, it's a flat sandwich with a sad few pieces

Sounds like you all had fun at the fair. My son is going to show his chickens at our local fair. It will be his first time.

And fried Oreos are pretty good, just a little greasy. I made them for our wrestling team at their last match of the year (my son wrestles for his school).

My girls were wishing they could raise sheep or goats, but we don't have a farm. Nor do I want that responsibility anyway!
