Wanted to get this in before it's too late. But there will be Halloween pictures sometime over the weekend! It was a fun day, although a little bittersweet because it was Becca's last school Halloween party (they don't have them in the middle and high schools). And it was probably Lauren's last time trick-or-treating.

I usually only use pure maple syrup but I TOTALLY have a weakness for IHOP's butter pecan syrup. *high five*

I've thought about asking if I could buy some or get the recipe when I'm there, but do I really need that right within reach 24 hours a day?

Oh man, butter pecan syrup?!?! I might have to make the drive 120 miles away for that! (Our nearest IHOP) We buy the New York garlic bread too. Yum

Ack, we don't have IHOP but I can imagine that butter pecan syrup must be heavenly.

No IHOP? I'm sorry! We don't go often, because they're pretty expensive for flour, eggs and milk, but I'm glad it's there just in case.

For some reason I think the IHOP pancakes are sweeter than normal and I will only order there chocolate chip pancakes when I'm in the mood for something like that and I eat them plain as well with a little whip cream lol

I've never been one for whipped cream on my pancakes - or really, on anything else.

I do love chocolate chip pancakes, though!
