Okay, last one before bed. (Hello LJ, it is nice to use you again.)

THIS is why 50 Shades of Grey is a pile of dangerously badly written shite. Seriously, the amount of misinformation here that is now OUT THERE, being read by people with no previous exposure to how things are done is...is....well thank you to the lady who has reviewed it, because ( Read more... )

Oh thank you - this is just brilliant. I keep telling people how shit it is - I lost the will to live partway through the first one, then I skim read the other two so that I could properly despise it

I found the link to bizzybiz through you on FB and bookmarked it. I plan on reading her whole review of the book. Also, there will be a massive reposting of her site by me. Oh, yes. Yes, yes, yes.

She's brilliant. I wrote my own review of the book last week, and she is one of the links I referenced. I am very much with you on this.
She's starting the next book this week I believe.

So glad you posted this and the link to the "critical analysis".
I was going to buy these because of all the hype - yes, I know, sometimes I'm really sad!! - but having seen a few quotes from book 1, I know that I just cant read something that poorly written. It sounds like absolute shite - and that's long before you get to a discussion of the merits of the book/BDSM/opinions of women and men blah blah blah.
So thank you for saving me from spending about £12 on what i thought was going to be an intersting bit of light porn.

I have to say that if it reads as it appears , it does seem to portray a very worrying attitude to bullying/victimisation etc which in my understanding has nothing to do with BDSM (not that I really know much about that either.
Are we to assume that in the last book she finally grows up and realises this?? No, come to think of it, I dont care enough to find out.
