I thought perhaps maybe you were just making up all "I don't need an English lesson" thing. Perhaps I was the one who was in error, I read your bio and I'm amazed at your writing, as I am not and will never be a writer myself. I hope you have something that enables you to use your skills. I was very pleased that you said no all attractive blondes have to be ditzy and unintelligent, I was holding my breath for a moment. Anyway hope life treats you "swimmingly".
hey..it's cool..leearcuri's a funny guy...I was trying to be funny with my little comment...I'm not all snooty or anything..I just came off all 'proper-like' in response to him saying I should sit down and be quiet, or whatever...it's nothin'...what he said was funny...point was that the spelling of the word is accepted as it is, and the rule doesn't apply..but hey, who cares...it was just pointless filler conversation...I'm no English expert...
Thanks for the compliment on the writing...it's just something I do in my spare time, when I'm not flippin' burgers (just kidding... I don't flip burgers for a living...).
My thoughts exactly. Are you sure you didn't steal that whole rant from my brain when you were wandering through my journal?
As a career pedestrian, I encounter those situations several times daily. Is it so much to expect a little awareness and common courtesy from people? It's not like it's super-string theory. Or maybe it is...
Actually, I'm just impressed the guy didn't try to pick a fight with you for "bumping" into his friend.
there must've been some subliminal, unconscious 'common sense' in the air that enabled that group of idiots to realize they were in the wrong (or at least what's her name was in the wrong), and an argument and/or fight would've been foolish and futile
