Tomorrow evening I will be boarding the dread Continental Airlines to head back east to see family and friends. I have a 3 1/2 hour layover in Newark. Not. Looking. Forward. To. That. I am having flashbacks of being stranded there in thanksgiving of 98 or 99 for eight freakin hours. *shudder

Wait, does EVERYONE get stuck in Newark? I got stuck there between Greyhounds at their bus/train station. All I took away from the place was snarly employees, a pimp with a feather in his hat (no chit) outside the overpriced McGutRot, my first glimpse of Broadway posters, and gray. Lots and lots of gray, or all shades. I thought all of Newark must be gray, with a line or patch of rust every so often to liven things up.
