Happy Thanksgiving!
Today I am thankful that I can go to a warm home, be with people I love and have a completely amazing and delicious vegan feast.

I am so happy! Our good friends got engaged this weekend. They are such wonderful, amazing people and we are so incredibly happy for them.

This makes three weddings next year! Whew! -
Marathon Canceled
Well, the Pasadena Marathon has been canceled due to air quality concerns because of the fires. Josh and I went outside for a few minutes and you can feel the smoke in the air when you breathe and we are an hour or so drive away from either of the big fires ( Read more... ) -

Name Change
Not only am I changing my name because I got married, I'm looking to change my LJ name. Of course the one I want is not available (or any iterations) though when I search for it as a user, it tells me it doesn't exist. Anyone know what's up with that? -
Busy Day
Yesterday I went to the engagement party o a good friend. i am so incredibly happy for her. Now that she's set the date, Josh and I can look into honeymoons and such. Just as proud as I was of this country that Obama won, I am ashamed that Prop 8 passed. Ashamed that my state actually put a measure on the ballot that add an elimination of rights to our constitution. Ashamed that there were more people in this state that voted to take rights away from other human beings than there were that wouldn't. Ashamed that ( Read more... ) -
