In another 12 hours, we're off to YVR and Air Canada's flight from Seoul. Geoff and Donna, who left a week ago as a 'twosome' return as a 'threesome' - with little Ben-Woo in their arms. They have kept us up to date with a blog (on VOX) of their wonderful week in Korea to pick up their adopted son

Perhaps the Celebration of Light makes up for the sad absence of fireworks at New Year's.

Spoke to Geoff yesterday to wish him, Donna, and Ben Woo my congratulations. I told them that once they're ready, I'd be thrilled to come up and visit.

My apartment is now complete downtown, so move in is set upon my return from Turkey.

Hope your stay at Family Camp was good, and that things are more settled in at Seagate.

It's good to hear from you and that your life continues to unfold in positive ways. Gracias for your good wishes and your prayers. I have recently returned from another trip from my 'otro hogar' - Chile - where I had a reunion with the many kids (now young men & women) I knew so well in the 1990's at Hogar Santa Cruz in Santiago. Many of them now have children of their own. It was my 24th visit to Chile - but the first since I retired five years ago. If you scroll back in this 'cool_moose' LJ you will see some accounts of recent happenings in my life.

Joel and Corgan have moved on, it seems. I still hear from Joel occasionally in my other 'tomcan' journal - but Corgan has disappeared, it seems.
