Spring has finally arrived in Vancouver ...
I guess that the last few months have been my longest period without any entries since I started my scribblings in LJ circa 2001. Maybe I've run out of things to say - although my family would roll their eyes at that. But winters seem to silence even me, to some extent. I met both of them in LJ ... through a mutual friend, Kieran, who had a fascinating and intense LJ communication going during Chris' last year at high school. Chris then went to Harvey Mudd in California on scholarship, where Nick became his friend.'Life happens' when you have other plans, and Chris went back home to Florida and finished University there ... during which time he visited my wife and I in Vancouver several times.
He moved here to work in the bio/research industry and considers Vancouver to be 'home' these days.
Nick and Colin Marshall (who Chris grew up with when they were both kids) have visited Chris here in Vancouver ... and I was fortunate to meet them in person as well.
Are you still in China?
