Late summer visits ...

August and the summer are nearly gone. And I almost missed my chance to keep up my monthly (at least) update in here. “Cool_Moose” and, before that, “Tomcan”, are the places where I’ve tried to extract little stories from my decades for later editing - and to keep in touch with this fascinating list of LJ-friends in recent years - since 2000 ( Read more... )

Obrigado! Those flamenco falsetas are still dancing in my head. It was a wonderful trip with amazing company despite whatever shortcomings I felt in Vancouver. Thank you once again.

Yes - the 'bookmarks' were the Cuban music at the Latin Quarter and the flamencos at Cito's.

Thanks for having us, in your city and your home. Though perhaps I ought to start calling it my city as well? My mother has signed on to visiting sometime during my winter break, which runs between 15 December and 7 January. I realize this will be a busy time; Glen has offered his accommodations, should yours be full at the time. I would recommend the first week of January, since air travel is hectic the second two weeks of December.

There will be many such reunions to come.

Of course it is your city, home - and family too.
Not sure if other condo will be occupied - but we'll find a way. Hurry 'home' :-)

What a long wait for a new post. As always, your grace and good heart come through words. Glad to hear you are living a life.

- Brett.

P.S. I once almost called San Fransisco home. It is beautiful.

Summers, these days, seem busier for me than winters. The reverse from my working days. Places to go, people to see ... hence, I'm in TO again. Next month it's Montreal - for a 40th reunion with my graduating class. Should be a blast.
In November, it's Massachusetts to give a paper on Chatterton again. Then winter will find me writing more often.
we must trade e-mails soon :-)
