Ahh, reunions! I have mine next year... 10 year anniversary, eesh! :D

Also, I know its not "Your" alma mater, but I was surprised to learn how many people I know who went to Simon Fraser. Maybe you Canucks aren't so bad after all, eh?

And when is your Seattle visit? Did you forget about all of us down here? ;)

SFU is Peter & Geoff's alma mater - and (ahem) I was an adjunct professor there until 2002. It's up there with Waterloo - Keenan's alma mater.

I'm due down there in a week or so - bailing out my @#$%^&* boat. I think I'm going to give it away. Interested?

You dislike your boat?

If I knew what I was doing with one and could actually visit it regularly, I think it'd be fun! I've always wanted to sail a bit myself, but living in a land-locked area hasn't helped that cause very much at all.

It must be exciting to hear your 2-1/2 year-old talk! I didn't appreciate enough linguistics when my youngest brother was learning to talk; now, I would be quite fascinated. Is he getting more than English, by any chance?

And it seems we got the Senate too! I am hoping that the Democrats can successfully push for some of the good social changes that they have promised without getting too mired in Iraq! (And with, well, partisan politics, but that is nonetheless inevitable. Hopefully they'll all play a little more nicely for these next two years.)
