Well, it was family pressure, don’t ya see. An outing on a rain-washed Sunday in the Vancouver swamp - where nobody can drink the water for a week or two

I actually enjoyed it too. And, despite the wild antics and the focus on Kazakhstan, the film did manage to say some things about America. The examples may have been been few and extreme, but the some of the attitudes displayed are still nonetheless more prevelant to some degree (though, yes, rarely to that extreme).

The power of exaggeration brings the point home sometimes. It's amazing how some of his 'dupes' are now trying to sue and get on the cash band-wagon.

Long live the American justice system. I think I'm going to sue because his stereotyping of Jews profoundly affected me - it's been days since I've been able to think straight*.

Oh, well, thanks... I guess I have to see it now! =P

BTW, you should go see "Stranger than Fiction." It is VERY good, despite the fact that the protagonist is played by a product of SNL ignominy. It is a serious, yet quirky, little film that brings up some serious existential questions.
