 It is time to retire this blog. It doesn't mean that I will not be writing anymore, just not here most likely. Coolbeans56, this blog here, has defined my life for the last seven years. I started this LJ three weeks before heading to DC, over the years I have come in and out of writing

I miss your writing, especially your take on politics. It was always insightful, intelligent, respectful of opposing viewpoints and not wrapped up in hyperpole or some hidden agenda. To steal a phrase from Chris Matthews, it told me something I didn't know. Best wishes on the next phase of your life.
