What you need to know: Civil War is the latest Marvel brainwave that is being played out in a 7-part mini series, not including the bazillion cross-over issues. Basically, it's taking the idea that the X-Men have used for years, that Bendis touched upon in "Powers", that J. Michael Straczynski based his entire "Rising Stars" title on, etc., etc

Part of me wants to scream, "Why, Lord, why?" Other than sales.

Another part tells me this is a reflection of American consciousness. Paranoid and militant and stoopid. Please remember this is a country where 50% of the citizens still beleive that WMDs were found in Iraq. God, it is embarrassing to be American. rojo
