if she wants you to pop the lock I'd like to see how much she likes it when you walk in on her because of it. (that is, if I'm understanding the situation correctly: my boyfriend shares a bathroom with a girl in his house and they each have their own door into it, so I'm assuming this is like that? anyway inevitably someone forgets to unlock sometimes..[okay, i feel especially crappy when that someone is me. haha])

When I lived in a dorm where 2 rooms shared a bathroom, the stupid doors had to be opened and locked from the outside. So we just never locked the bathroom doors, as that would mean opening the door into someone else's room just to lock the damn door. So we just had a little cardboard sign that said "Occupied" or something along those lines that we would slide partway under the door to the other room so they'd know someone was in there. I thought that was really poor design. Stupid doors.
