[OOC: Dialogue: Red = Aya, Green = Ken, Purple = Youji. Warnings for swearing and one really bad sex joke.]

[Movement. Momoe's whiskers twitch as she senses... movement. Narrowing her eyes, she can see two clumsy humans sneaking into her master's room. There's a brief moment where she considers attacking, but it passes; it's just Ken and Aya, ( Read more... )

So you're asking for advices now.

[Pff- smirking.]

Asking, begging, even offering compensation.

[Youji is treated to an amused looking Katara (Who is rooming at the same Inn/Hotel, ironically. Also working on getting UN-CHERRYSTUCK) though she's trying for his sake not to be so obvious. She's failing, JSYK.]

Try hiding lots of ice in their sleeping bags. Even if they find it their bedding will be soaked. It got my brother every time he needed to learn a lesson.

[Not a bad start. However, she's overlooked one crucial detail.]

Your brother can't retaliate against you, though. Whatever I do to them, it has to be something I can escape from. Either it should incapacitate them long enough for me to get away, or I can set it up far enough in advance that they can't get to me before the initial anger blows over.

[Ice isn't really conducive to that, sadly.]

Impressive how readily you had an idea for me, however. I'm sure your brother appreciates how forthcoming and helpful you are.

I guess you have a point. [Grins.] We used to prank one another a lot... well, him more than me. It was either learn how to counter it or be on the business end of his jokes all the time. [Katara probably did most of the owning, though, being a water bender, even if a poorly taught one.] So you have my empathy.

You could try tampering with the fastens of their sleeping bags, maybe? Keep them stuck after they wake up, then do whatever else you see fit from there? I'm probably a little rusty. It's been a while since we had enough free time to even think about playing pranks with the war and all.

I like that better. I don't think you're rusty at all.

[This is combining with Nagi's mention of blankets. The plan actually is coming together.

...though he'd be remiss not to notice.]

Probably that's one of the harsher realities of war, the way it diminishes a child's enjoyment of things. I wouldn't know, but you have my empathy--and I think it's much more well-placed this way.

[ REMARKABLY straight-faced. ]

I wouldn't recommend it.

It does make me look incredibly juvenile, asking that right after denouncing them for being grown men who still resort to this.

I'm sorry you had to see that.

I have an older brother, and several friends who are a lot like yours. I wouldn't worry about apologizing.

My condolences. If it's amused you, or made you feel closer to home, the entire humiliation was completely worth it.
