Do not get involved, don't handle things yourself, keep your distance etc etc BECAUSE IT DOESN'T WORK OUT although that being said, it's only because Phoenix was around - still, will Kristoph take that risk after the last time? Considering how cautious he was beforehand, I doubt it very much, unless he's driven to it. That said, his definition of 'driven to' might be a bit iffy. Killing Zak was not entirely necessary, was it? where was i even going RIGHT YEAH
Kristoph dislikes loose ends and apparently will take risks to tie them up. But not so much anymore? We'll see, depends if he does come across any loose ends, so to speak. It's just that the silly thing is that Zak would have been legally dead anyway and yet Kristoph still felt the need to kill him off. Did Zak know anything about Kristoph? What could he have told Phoenix, was he even likely to tell Phoenix that Kristoph was supposed to be his attorney? Who knows, probably unlikely considering the events in the Hydeout but I guess that was the risk Kristoph didn't want. He was perfectly happy to risk killing Zak but not happy to risk letting him live. At least then he'd be sure that Zak wouldn't tell, at least.
He listened to Vera. About her problem. Gave her good luck charm for when she absolutely had to go outside, LOLOLOL POISONED NAIL POLISH you devious fucker Kristoph. He had quite an effect on her, apparently, she promised not to tell - that being said, Phoenix got through to her easily enough but then again, MAGATAMA BITCHES.

Everyone involved with the case felt watched. Kristoph kept close fucking tabs on absolutely everyone. Because he was terrified of missing a trick. Obviously this is why he befriended Phoenix in the first place - Nick's friendship was never pure but nor was Kristoph's. They both mistrusted each other and Kristoph more than Nick, just wanted to make sure he never put two and two together. LMFAO THIS IS OBVIOUS OF COURSE but w/e
Zak was 'rubbed out' after coming into contact with Brushel. So that'd be why Kristoph didn't take care of him before then, he couldn't track Zak down until then.
