I rant about work and post pics of food. Sometimes, I post about the Red Wings if it's hockey season. I really try not to do any of that a lot. Those are things that define my interests and personality, and I know when to post and when not to, at least, most of the time. That being said, the "Oh LOOK, I have kids, LOOK AT MY KIDS!" is irritating, especially when it seems to take over every aspect of their online presence. Suddenly, it's not about them on FB, it's pictures of the kid, congrats, you created life, get over it... The same thing happens in real life with people, too. At this point, I do exactly what you did: Unsubscribe, unfriend, uncare. There's more to a person that what they create with biology. How do I get THEM to realize that?
Yeah, yeah. I am also guilty of doing some of those things too.
Baby pictures are the number one offender. If I had to choose that would be the one to obliterate. And I do the above things too, also. And really it's about moderation. I mean say "go team!" once if it was a really good game. However I don't need a play by play of every week which is what some people do.
