so about 2 weeks ago, I "applied" for my absentee ballot, and low and behold, I still have not received it! So, like the good citizen that I am, I call the state of IL election board to complain. Yesterday the ewo had a one day frisbee tournament at Yale, New Haven, CT. we only had 9 people (one was sort of injured...) and there are 7 people on the field at a time, which means that all of us basically played all the time, with just one or two points here and there to rest. I love walking past 89/91 Frederick Ave. That house makes me feel so patriotic with their flag and Jesus statue in the front yard, and the "support the troops" bumper sticker on the back of their Ford. It is like the picture perfect "American" house, and that makes me very happy, and I can't really explain it.

Living off campus makes me feel so much older than I felt last year. People now ask me what year I am, and I'm stumped because I don't feel like a freshman or sophomore, but I can't imagine myself as a junior, either. new updates from the last few days at this camp. last week, I got moved from the autistic boys bunk into the 11-12 year old girls with serious attitudes! not only that, but instead of working on the waterfront all day, I now do bunk life in the mornings, and w-front starting at 3 (for Mountain swim time).
