I bought Yoshi's Island DS yesturday. Meh, just meh. It isn't bad, per se. It just follows the new Nintendo trend; "more of the same, no more, no less" when it could have been something better. Not dissapointed w/ the purchase, it just feels like a Yoshi's Island Special Edition, minus the fun bosses (at least thus far) than a brand new game. I

or any castlevania for DS or GBA they are all really solid fun games
Also a trend I see in a few DS games is actually having the space between screens in the games you can't see what is there and that makes me SCREAM! with horror! and stuff!
I have been playing Contact which is alright... and Magical Starsign which is pretty fun, but I am a RPG kind of guy so you might not like it. I also have Meteos and Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime on the way. You should check out rocket slime if you are into handheld Zelda-esque games.

Oh, while I do love the castlevania series, I always get stuck not knowing what to do next. I bought one of the GBA ones but never finished it because I didn't know where to go next. I was going in circles for hours until I just gave up. But I might just give the new one for the DS a shot since it looks pretty bad ass.
Hmmm, I'll look into this Rocket Slime thing.
BTW, I checked out Ristar for the Sega Genesis and it's a pretty fun game. Any other Sega games that I absolutely must check out?
