On one hand, this is just the best thing ever!

On the other hand....he's now pink....and cute. And a lot shorter now too.]I suppose I shouldn't object because this appears to be a rather interesting sort of creature...whatever it is.

[Lakes and rivers happen to most Mercury Djinn's favorite places. And most Mercury Adepts' favorite places too.

Not to say he doesn't enjoy it but...

[And under normal circumstances the first thought any Adept would have upon seeing a Mercury Dijinni would be to catch it. Because it either meant another arrived here, or one of his or Amiti's dijinni wandered off and it should be caught before it causes trouble for the others.

So when Piers surfaces and sees the flopping dijinni, he's going to try and catch it. Of course he's still not going so hot at walking on flippers so he ends up flat on his face nearby.

Hopefully the little guy won't run away because of that.]

[Yep. But even though he's caught by Piers, he does squirm. No wonder some of the Djinn they encountered tried to run away. It doesn't help that he doesn't recognize Piers right now.]

[And it's not helping Piers that he can't figure out which dijinni this would be. He can barely tell his three apart and hasn't seen Amiti's yet. And does Alex even have any?]

[Okay that voice is definitely familiar but he's still torn on whether he should tell this...pink penguin thing or not. If it's who he thinks it is, then this situation is going to get really awkward REALLY FAST.]

[At first his thought is "what sort of name is that for a dijinni?" and then it hits him. He got turned into this weird creature and Amiti got turned into a dijinni.]

Well, I'll say I'm not Alex and leave it at that.

[And nope, not dropping you Amiti. It's actually pretty amazing how well a creature with flippers can hold things. The only worry is the fact that walking on flippers is hard to do.]
