SO a few days ago I got some news that most of you will find disturbing...Most of you don't understand the severity of the cancer and how it affects the body. I want you to know that you have touched me in a way that you won't know, even though we don't truly know each other, what you have shared with me through yourself is more than I could hope for. I want you to know that I appreciate you, and wish you well, loving you for who you are, and I wish we could have known each other better. While others are content to whine about the jobs where they get paid to post on LJ all day, you're taking all that comes your way like a man. That's what I like most about you. You're an inspiration. At the risk of sounding inappropriate, that midnight kiss this past New Year was also inspiring. I've carried it with me all year long. You know you have the ability to touch people's lives...and you still do. I know you're not giving up and I'm proud of you. I'm glad I met you.

In the grand sceme of things, my thoughs don't mean shit. My prayers, however, are with you and your family, as they have been throughout this ordeal. And they're still with you on the rest of your journey. Maybe I'll have an opportunity to party with you at journey's end, coz I wasn't able to at the beginning of it.
