Allergies anyone?

I went to see the allergist this morning, he did some of that scratching tests on my forearm and lo and behold I'm allergic to cats, mould, birch trees -which is related to my fresh thin skin fruit allergies because they carry the same antigen (apples, pears, peaches, plums, nectarines, cherries); Peanuts as suspected were confirmed and now he's ( Read more... )

I thought your peanut allergy had subsided. or maybe it was something else. Or maybe I'm crazy. Fresh cherries, chilled, are absolutely the best :(

get better soon! I think I might have some sort of light cold :(

waah, maybe I'm allergic to birch trees too. ppl think i'm weird when I say I'm allergic to apples and stuff. you gotta show me that skin writing sometime...get better soon

hmm...you guys should stay away from loquats too. mom had one in China and "nearly died"

Ah-ha!! i knew it wasn't just me.. my parents always thought i was just avoiding foods i didn't want to eat when i said that things make my tongue itchy.. like apples, pears, peaches, plums, nectarines, and cherries. and celery, bean sprouts, tofu.. but hey, there IS an underlying explaination! mwahaha.. well, not like they still don't believe me, but it's nice to know that it's not just some psychological aversion. there are SO many kids in the school i'm student teaching at who have allergies; epi-pen pouches are everywhere. :P

yikes...you should write your name on your forehead to take away the need for introductions! heehee, just kidding.
