Huh. I think it's a combination of, yes, a whole different population in those comments versus the actual real world, and the American Idol thing. I sort of think the fact that he was in everyone's living room for weeks on end raises the entitlement thing for those inclined toward such?

Also, yes, awesome voice, which is really the point. :D

And: it makes me think a little bit of the kerfuffle when Tommy Lee was 'caught' feeding Nick Carter sushi, and all his metal head fans were all "OMG real rockers wouldn't do that!!!!" All I could think is: The definition of a 'real' rocker is that they don't give a fuck what you/we think about shit like that.
