No need, think of it as a New Years gift.

Is it customary to exchange gifts during that holiday as well?

It depends on the culture, mostly. In most Asian countries, it's almost mandatory.

Then if that is the case, I still owe you something! I insist.

Anymore books and I fear they shall swallow you whole.

Nonsense. A good story lulls me to sleep at night.

Despite how long I've known you, you were still the hardest person to buy a present for. I know your hobbies, but I don't really know what you like and dislike.

You really liked the books?

[ooc; Why you go and break my heart like that?]

When one wishes to know something, one merely needs to ask, Penelo.

Yes, I very much liked the books. Thank you. I also appreciate the charm you gave me.

[ OOC: Because I'm so good at it! ]

I'll ask, then. It didn't seem like a good idea for Christmas, however. You would have known what I was getting for you.

I wasn't able to give you news about home. Wishes seem to have a unique kind of power here, I'd hoped the charm would help a little.

[ooc; Unbreak my heeeeeart~]

I fancy a great deal of things. Reading is one of them, as is traveling.

But of course, being able to meet you has been a most treasured gift.
