I need a break from things I have to do as a responsible grown up. This is so low on the list of things I should be doing right now (sleep is probably #1, seeing as I have to be up at 7:30 tomorrow morning), but I want to do them. They're short and they give me an excuse to focus on music.

- What was the first song you ever heard by 6?
I think it was "Catch My Disease"
- What is your favourite album of 2?
Middle of Nowhere or The Walk. I switch back and forth depending on my mood. Today it'd be Middle of Nowhere.
- What is your favourite lyric that 4 has sung?
Not that it's groundbreaking, but I love "I hold you in my hand, a little animal. And only some dumb idiot would let you go." It's so blunt? There are others I relate to more or that I think are higher quality, but that lyric's a standout in my mind. I also love "How do you make it right? Oh, but you try!" from "Is It Any Wonder?" It's an anti-war song, and I see it kind of see it as
Hugh Laurie's "All We Gotta Do". No one has the answers, but somebody's gotta do something!
- How many times have you seen 5 live?
2
- What is your favorite song by 7?
"Viva La Vida" or "The Scientist"
- What is a good memory you have involving the music of 10?
Listening to their first album in one of those preview things at Walmart, and not wanting to leave because it was so good. I honestly didn't expect to fall in love with them like I did after hearing that album.
- Is there a song of 3 that makes you sad?
They have sad songs, but there aren't really any songs of theirs that make me sad. Some of their solo stuff does though.
- What is your favorite lyric that 2 has sung?
"When you can't get through it, you can listen to it."
- What is your favorite song by 9?
"Opportunity"
- How did you get in to 3?
I was late to catch on. When we were 16, I think, Cassi, Missy, and I went to Walmart before school so Cassi could get BSB's new CD. While we were there, Missy decided to buy a Beatles CD that was on sale. She kept talking about how great they were, and of course I was familiar with them and some of their songs, but it got me really curious about all of their music. My mom got me a copy of 1, and I memorized all of those songs forward and backward. I was madly in love, and started my Beatles collection right away.
- What was the first song you heard by 2?
"MMMBop"
- What is your favorite song by 4?
"We Might As Well Be Strangers" It's one of those songs where not just the lyrics tell the story, but the music, way its sung, arrangement, etc create the emotion. It's really gorgeous and heartbreaking.
- How many time have you seen 9 live?
None. I doubt he's ever even come to Utah.
- What is a good memory you have involving 2?
Wow, where do I begin? Hanson's been the most influential band of my life. They've become so entwined with everything in my life for the past 11 years, I really don't know how to separate memories. Something specific...um, going over to Missy's to record all their appearances since Missy had cable and we didn't. I don't know why she, or her whole family for that matter, still talks to me.
- Is there a song of 8 that makes you sad?
"War On Drugs," especially given Steven's current predicament. :(
- What is your favorite album of 5?
I like all of them equally, but for different reasons. I like individual songs on Hot Fuss better, but I like the overall feel of Sam's Town better. I also appreciate the diversity of Sawdust. All of their music is fun to listen to.
- What is your favorite lyric that 3 has sung?
What's my favorite Lennon/McCartney lyric? Well that's a quick, easy decision to make since they wrote so few high-quality songs!! I guess I could always go with a George song, too, since he wrote a couple of my favorites by them. I'll go with..."Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see" from "Strawberry Fields Forever".
- What is your favorite song of 1?
"Why Georgia" I have a lot of 2nd favorites, but that'll probably always be my very favorite by him.
- What is your favorite song of 10?
I'm thinking..."Stigmatized"
- How many times have you seen 8 live?
Three
- What is your favorite album of 1?
Continuum
- What is a great memory you have considering 9?
I don't really have memories with him. It might be when I heard that he'd done a duet with John Mayer, and that it was on my favorite song of his. AND it was introduced by Rove. Australian perfection right there folks (with a touch of Mayer).
- What was the first song you heard by 8?
"Brian Wilson" is the first I remember
- What is your favorite cover by 1?
I really love "Bold is Love," but after this last concert I think "My Sweet Lord" is the new winner.
- What was the first song you ever heard by number 5?
"Somebody Told Me"
- What is your favorite lyric that number 6 has sung?
"Are you changing? Are you changing? Are you changing? Do you know it? Do you feel it? Do you know it? But you're waiting, while you're waiting, why are you waiting? Just do it, whatever it is." Every time I listen to that song it makes me feel like anything is possible and life is simple.
- How many times have you seen 4 live?
Once, and we got to meet them after the show. Awesometeen.
- What is your favorite lyric that 1 has sung?
Seriously, this is like the Lennon/McCartney question. John Mayer's my all-time favorite lyricist. I'll just have to choose one... It's not the overall winner, but deciding that would take forever. "Oh I'm never speaking up again starting now. Starting now... ...One more thing, why's it my fault?!" from "My Stupid Mouth" I've heard it 5353296 times, and it still makes me laugh. "83" is my favorite song of his at the moment, so maybe I should choose one from there, too. "Here I stand 6 feet small and smiling 'cause I'm scared as hell...and most my memories have escaped me or confused themselves with dreams. If heaven's all we want it to be, send your prayers to me care of 1983." It be the perfect song of the moment for me, you know, if I'd actually been alive in 1983!
- What is a great memory you have concerning number 3?
Cassi texting me from Liverpool. I felt like I was there with her!
