I don't know where to begin other than to say I'm finally to a point where I have regained motor control and have enough control over the tears to post about Michael.
I still can't believe its true. I have so many memories of him as well. I know he had lots of superfans, but it's crazy to think of how ingrained he's been in our lives.
My first tape was Janet from you, but I mostly wanted it because of him. Seriously remembering all the things he inspired. I keep thinking of our programs and dances we made up to HIStory. It's so crazy.
I watched the Superbowl appearance last night and remembered thinking that because I was a kid I would for sure meet him one day. The HIStory booklet (I believe) has pictures of him with fans as well as celebs like Liz Taylor. I was so sure that we'd be in his album one day (apparently I was delusional)
I'm listening to him right now and every song has a memory. Our twin dance to Man in the Mirror is the current one. He never made us cool, but he's brought so much fun and happiness.
I like reading your memories/experiences with him and his music. I think my main experience was four years of choir and having to sing Heal The World over and over and over pretty much cemented Michael in my heart. :)
Aw. I love that song, except that it's one of the few with a negative memory for me. Cassi and I used to change the lyrics to be rude to Lisa, and I feel guilty about it. We were only 9ish and acting our age, but still.)
Haha see that makes me laugh too. :p I heard Earth Song on the radio today. I've forgotten how much I liked that one too. There's just so many to love!
I was going to do an entry, but it fit here a lot better.
Today was a day of realising just ohw big of a part of our lives Michael was. Not that we needed it, but Michael provided a lot of bonding time for us.
Here are some random things I remembered today.
Remember watching the Jackson movie on Thanksgiving at GG Greco? And performing basically the entire HIStory album? I kept listening to songs and realising how big of dorks we were, but how much fun it was.
Remember making this for me for the Steps forum?:

I keep thinking of more Michael memories I didn't write down. The reminiscing is making me realize we're huge dorks, but I don't really care because they're such great, fun memories.
Dude. I totally forgot I'd made that!
I was thinking about that, too. This isn't just a 'wow, now this tragic thing has happened I should pretend to be a huge fan of his.' We just are huge fans of his. I mean, Kelly and I were even talking about him Wednesday night because he's such a normal part of my life that he just comes up in regular conversation

Do you have all his albums? I'm sharing his music with the world if there's anything you don't have that you want. ;)
