If it's possible, he scowls harder, and a frustrated growl escapes from his throat.
"It doesn't matter, really." He finally decides on a murmur. "I don't care. I'm just hungry and I'm going down to the kitchen and I'm going to get something to eat, and it'll be fine."
He bites back a retort on his tongue and folds his arms in front of him again, turning to lean against the door in a threatening 'I'll-leave-if-I-don't-like-where-this-is-going' type of way.
"I haven't left yet." Though, he should have. Minutes ago.
He notes the way Mihael's arms tighten around Near, and his eyes narrow fractionally.
"There's no reason for me to." He murmurs, shaking his head. "Besides, Near--you of all people should know the implications. Two of the same people cannot exist at the same time. It's theoretically impossible. There's something different at the mansion that allows it, but I'm not going to risk it in your universe." Another quiet pause. "Besides, I've got my own world."

He takes an angry step towards the door.
"Why do you want me to stay, anyway?"

He's already said as much, you know. A few days ago, at least.
