What is the nature of your species, if you don't mind my asking? Rather, how does your feeding impact whatever it is you are feeding on?

My species? I'm human cursed with this disease of vampirism. Though I must say I've begun to embrace this disease. The things I've been able to accomplish to avenge myself are far beyond what a normal man could.

Species? Vampires are but vampires...the necromancer Mortanius offered me a chance at vengeance as a vampire...

My victims feed me. If I've taken the life of one who has a strong connection to where they live, their spirit walks there, yet I can still feed from the ghost's soul. It's quite useful when my own spiritual strength ebbs.
