That game was un-real. I have been to a lot of sox games over the years but I have never had an experience like that. I cant even begin to describe it. Maybe I will give it more of a shot later... or after the second game

I have the game TiVo'd if you want to see if you can find yourself in any crowd shots. I didn't see you, though. What a great way to start the day, though. :)
I recorded it too. I would be disapointed if we didnt make it on given the lack of signs in the park. What were they showing comming back between innings if not the signs. Ours was much more impressive than the ones a few fans had thrown togeter right off the plane.
Fantastic game, I wish the other one had been a win too but you cant have everything.
Oh yea, and I called the highly improbable Moss home run, even I didnt really believe it when I said it though ;-)
So did you find the bell noises they played for runs and foul balls to work with the game or be silly? There was much talk on the TV, as you can imagine, about the high level of protection they had for foul balls.
the sounds were crazy but not that bad and the protection from foul balls was off the hook. I couldnt get very good shots the first night because of the screen. Every time a foul is hit they made an announcent (english then japanese) to watch out for foul balls. I imagined some poor guy bleeding from a head wound from a foul ball while hearing the announcement. It wasnt very helpful but clearly they are safty consous.
