One of the hardest and most difficult things is getting people off their asses, getting them to care, and actually do something meaningful and productive even if there's "nothing in it for them".
It's not only physically draining, but mentally, too, in that in 96% of the time, you're met with rejection.

So true. :( How were you encouraging people to get off their asses and do something? Tabling always sucks...<3

I needed people to help out with volunteering at the Earth Day Fair and Expo, but out of the nearly 100 people I asked, 4 helped out. People are stinky.
