I did not take any photos of my culinary endeavours tonight (I actually went back to my room to grab my camera, and forgot that the battery was sitting in the charger; good job, self), BUT IT LOOKED DELICIOUS. Mascarpone makes for great easy truffles. Yum. But as a heads up, in the US, cream cheese is an entity all to its own, and likely would NOT make tasty truffles. (so I was awfully confused by the description to your picture with them the other day. heh.)

How many Oreos would you say were in a packet? I've seen packages of 6 and packages of like 50, because people around here are insane. They look reeeally good, and I'd like to try making some this weekend as an I-survived-my-clingy-family reward.

Ok, it was not all just because they are clingy, but ykwim. It takes its toll regardless.

I've made the Oreo truffles twice this weekend, and I'm pretty sure Housemate M would have sneaked off and scoffed them all if he could have managed it.

Which is to say: om nom nom and A++. *thumbs up*
