Things that go *crack* in the night...

It is not uncommon for me to fall asleep in front of the TV.(Hey, it's a very feline thing to do.)
Normally, I'll wake up later and then pad off to bed. This evening... it was different.

I was tossing and turning and was just waking up.
I noticed the clock:
   Huh, about 3am. Yeah, should go to bed
I noticed the TV was still on:
   Huh,

aaiieee! glad you're ok! I hope you can get the glass bits out of teh stereo, especially any moving parts!

Actually, the things immediately under the TV were the tuner/receiver and the VCR. I'm not at all worried about the reciever (as it's solid-state, and therefore requires no mechanicals), but the VCR may have glass bits in places I can't get out of it. It's an old VCR, though (over a decade old), so if we have to replace it, I'm not going to have too many concerns--I get to find one with lots better features! :)
