easy there girl, your life isn't boring....wait, you have a real deck! ours is made outta plywood. ok, use a trap that is meant to trap, not kill. you can get them from any humane society organization. and a groundhog wont attack anything, all it does is eat worms and other small creatures that live in the soil. (it in fact will eat the bugs that are harmful to a person's garden) and the woodchuck is the same way, though you will generally find those living in woods and other such areas. hope this helps! :D
