Alright, next time I go to an ALA event I'm avoiding the cheap "exhibits only" ticket. I want a big-ass badge with all kinds of flags. Also I am officially a huge nerd.

Still alive. Still a librarian. Things are going fairly well, I got called a "book ninja" by an overly excitable student. It made my day.

Holy crap. I have apparently seen ALL the "on line games" related pages that stumbleupon has to offer. And the fuckers wont just reset the counter and let me see them all again. No, they want me to check out other stumbleupon areas. Damn it, just give me some fucking snood already.

I like to cook. I think I'm pretty good at it, and I tend to think about it a lot more than might be suggested by my typical "fry it and slather it in hot sauce" approach. So I've had to plow through The Hunger Games and Catching Fire this weekend, which, I will say are awesome books. However, there is a movie coming out and I would be highly amused if they cast Ellen Page and Michael Cera as the main characters. Just sayin'.

I don't feel I'm exaggerating at all when I say that the Atlanta Aquarium is pretty much the most awesome thing ever. In the worlds largest aquarium tank they have not one, not two, but four whale sharks. WHALE SHARKS! Are you kidding me?
