*pouts* I didn't know it was your birthday. But Happy belated birthday dear!!! Don't worry, turning 28 didn't make me feel any different either. Neither did turning 29. I am dreading this year's birthday though. Another decade. *sigh*
And I'm right there with you in how I make the bed. Dunno why, it's just the way my mom taught me how. And I could fill a list just on my strange eating habits - food not touching, eating all of one thing before moving on to the next... :)
Yes, twas my birthday and I'm not entirely sure who knew and who didn't - I think it depends on whether you pay attention to the birthday box or not. But thank you for the wishes, Pol. :D
Why do you think the corn must go in a bowl? It spreads out and *touches* things. *shudders* I'm with you on eating things one at a time as well. Who knew it was so common?
About making the bed. Most days I just straighten the first sheet, then fold sheet #2 and covers and lay them at the feet of the bed. Nope, not taught. I just want it to look pretty but used not to have the time to do it in the normal way.
And about turning 28. I admire you. I'm getting freaked about 22, and my familyis not helping. i think that the only reason why they don't drag me to a bridal store is because they still haven't found a groom to drag towards me.
Finally, about the story. You're welcome. You so deserved it. *smooch*
Re: the bed - that's literally when I change my sheets. Daily I tend to flatten and then pull the comforter up. *g*
I think if I was in contact with my father's side of the family the age thing (and being single) would bother me a little more. Excluding my stepfamily, my paternal cousins are all married, two to childhood sweethearts, with children and those children have a huge age range - 5 to 22, if I recall correctly. So for them, I'm the odd one.
Of course, occasionally I get random comments about grandchildren, 'when you're older and have kids' from the maternal side... luckily J, my cousin, has three to keep my grandparents occupied. *g*
Of course, I was a little put out to discover that my ultimate boss actually thought I was in my 30's last month. ;p Never had that happen before - most people think I'm younger.
I love my story. I'm not, generally speaking, in a big B/A place these days, but I love my story, perhaps because it is S2 and so nostalgic and sweet and... [stops gushing before Leni's runs away, scared. *g*] *

And you're always so sweet to me, but no wonder I haven't seen an entry from you in ages.
But I adore you and you ought to be told. *loves* ♥
*hugs*
