Spent a week camping in Sommerset with some peeps from church...it was an experience to say the least as it had people of all different churches coming down for the week, which meant that some of it was quite scary as people were getting filled to the brim with the holy spirit. Me, I just got spaced out. Jesus is my homeboy....I want that T-shirt. ( Read more... )

I can't recall Neuromancer being heavy on plurple prose, maybe it was the Finnish translation or I, like you, am becoming immune... then again, I should maybe read that book again at some point. In English, this time.

Well the first page describing the bar was just massive with description, the kind which always gets me into trouble during creative writing.

Oh yeah... http://www.neuromancer.org/

Heh, you want to really stretch your english skills, read Trainspotting in english!

What is it with people and turning out this and that into a film, plus its sequel and the sequel of the sequel? Or is that a bogus site? Ha!

I, uh, may take you up on the offer actually...

I can get Mary Is My Homegirl and we can MATCH.

Oh God, Barney has always scared the shit out of me. Which, somehow, makes that video even more hillarious.

Mate, you text me about train times, yeah?

I'm going to Church next week. I think it might seem a bit like I'm mocking them, being atheist and all, but I'm sleeping 'round my friend's and she's going to Church every morning next week, so. And then I'm going to the cinema with them all. Luckily, they aren't scary devout people and I don't think they'll yell at me for constantly blaspheming.

What's Neuromancer about? People keep mentioning it (on here, anyway) and I'm curious.
