A New Academic Analysis

I found this rather interesting article yesterday. It has quite a bit of broken/misused English in the lengthy 10 pages of text, but offers up some very illuminating insights I'd never considered before concerning Coppola's adaptation, such as the idea that Dracula perhaps kills Lucy as revenge for Mina's departure to Romania to marry another. I can't believe I'd never considered that! It's only logical. Though maybe since I knew the novel so well at the time it didn't stand out to me because in that he has zero given-motivation for his attacks on either!
