i liked Dead Like Me. and Mad Men. ziad and i just finished season 1 of Sons of Anarchy. it has noir elements like Veronica Mars and underworld elements like a biker Sopranos but the real treat is just how well acted and well directed it is. it also has katey segal and ron perlman; highly recommended.
I think it was a ripstik. Honestly I found the fact that he was skating around in the middle of the road while playing the guitar a bit more confusing than the skateboard itself.
We haven't watched any of Mad Men or Sons of Anarchy. I may toss those in my Netflix queue.
mad men is available but sons of anarchy he had to get by other means, although some of the episodes are available on hulu at various times (as in, they are trying to drum up viewership but there are limits as to which episodes are up and for how long)
I found part of a fender on our front grassy strip (not exactly a yard, but it's where a yard would go). I wondered if it had anything to do with the tire tracks in the snow that went down our sidewalk earlier in the winter. (Seriously, the only explanation was that a car drove down the sidewalk for a bit, and I'm not exagerating.) It had the mudflap still attached and everything.
Any more thought to you two joining watterflower and my mom for the bout Saturday night?
One of the tires was next to the alley, where we put our garbage can on garbage day. The other was up near our garage door under the hedge between our driveway and the alley. Strange stuff.
I think we can make it to the derby. I sent you an email this afternoon (this week has not been as calm as I would have liked).
