I sure hope all of you are using some sort of anti-virus program if you use deviantArt. Although the admins there won't admit it, some of the ads on that site do indeed contain viruses. I just dealt with about a half-dozen pop-ups from Avast related to viruses from that very site. No other web pages were open at the time, so there is no doubt.

Thanks to my dA sub I don't see the ads but you'd think a site as big as deviantART would try to protect it's users from viruses. I'll re-post this on my LJ in the hope of reaching more members.

I'm using Firefox with ad an blocker and I don't see any ads or have had any warnings from there.
I'll be more careful though, thanks!
