I was so excited to come back to school and see all of my friends. I even, apparently rather naively, thought all of them would be excited to see me too. Some of them definitely were, I had seen all of my fencing friends with in a week and even the ones I didn't know that well, like Claudia and Steve seemed to be happy that I was back

ive totally been at that point before. somewhat recently, when i planned a going away party for oli, i didnt invite a certain girl because shes not friends with him, and even though she comes to MY friends' parties, she never has seen oli out of that context (for example, just to hang out). shes never made an out right effort to even be friends with him, and oli doesnt even know anything about her

haha, rants totally acceptable. She does sound like a rather awful person. You totaally did the right thing by not inviting her!
