Best of Both Worlds

It's no secret that America has become a deeply divided country. The "red state/blue state" dichotomy impacts every aspect of modern life and political discourse, sometimes to the point of outright hostility.
Some people, however, act as a bridge between the two sides. mac_arthur_park is one of those people.
A quick glance at her profile tells you all you need to know: "low-rent kinky Martha Stewart wannabe," "the girl you waited for and the girl you dread loving," "unashamed...that my interests are evenly split between those of 80-year-old ladies and 15-year-old boys." And she lives every word of it.
