As I park the vehicle, my Fitbit buzzes at me. I presume, at this point, it's trying to submit its own resignation letter. But no, it's a text from Jamie, my boss.

Man. That really sounds very stressful. Like you say at the end, at least you see the sun. But I am guessing that means you also see the rain, snow, etc.
Thank you for all you do, seriously! Being able to order things can actually be so very helpful. For instance, I am a female with size 12 W shoes. I wear men's athletic shoes but when I need "dressy" shoes or sandals, I have to order them. I really appreciate all delivery drivers.
I hope you get some rest. Thanks for this glimpse of "a day in the life." I really sympathize. And your reward for doing your job well seems to be having to go "fix" the jobs of people who didn't do their day as well. I hope you get extra pay for that!

USPS, actually. And not much snow in the Bay Area, but plenty of everything else.

When I worked as a tour guide, I think I did a couple of days that were like 10, maybe 10.5 hour days, but that didn't happen too often. Just when traffic was really bad on certain holiday weekends. I can't imagine having to do it regularly.
